Pyramid Sea

"Two days past the Cataract of the Gates we spied a Pyramid upon the Inland Sea.  We approached in early morning light, wary of the shoals of ruins chocking the water, here barely two fathom deep.  The Lighthouse Map shows this as the heart of the city of Shalmangan, but only the Green Pyramid and its stone tree columns remain above the shallow sea.  The pyramid's top seems of solid gold, but the sides are slick with moss and slime, and after Thal nearly drowned, I forbid the crew to climb.  We will head toward the distant hills at the far shore hoping to replenish fresh water and food."
