Dante Landing

Dante was unlike its earth-like sister world. 82 Eridani's second planet was only technically habitable, in that you could step outside and breathe for a few hours before dying of heat and dehydration. Its simple life hung on in briny seas, more like the last gasps of Venusian organisms before the runaway greenhouse kicked in, than like anything found on Earth.
