Enceladus Base
Enke Station on Enceladus was the second outpost established in the Saturn system. Permanently staffed by crews of four to eight from its establishment in 2069AD, the base was the focal point for the study of Saturn's inner moons, rings, and atmosphere. Abandoned in favor of the Hernando research base and Camp Walker in the 2090s, the base was stripped of most equipment. Despite slow abrasion from E Ring materials, Enke Station remained an emergency shelter into the early 22nd Century until succumbing to ice flows around 2110AD.
