Harvesting Uranian Skies
A Uranian Sky Mining Corporation (USMC) Sky Harvester plows though the atmosphere of the Solar system's smallest gas giant, harvesting helium 3 for use in fusion reactors. The USMC deployed six autonomous sky harvesters from a small staffed base on the small moon of Mab. Operations began in 2104CE, but the company soon ran into financial difficulties, and the increasing viability of CNO and pure protium reactors, combined with Uranus's poor orbital alignment led the company to declare bankruptcy and abandon operation by 2125.
