Needle in the Eye of the Sun

The starship Path of Least Resistance approaches the derelict cruiser Saratoga, locked in a close orbit around a star.  This is another image from my novel The Needle and the Skull, a product of the 2005 National Novel Writing Month.  I'm still editing and revising the novel (as of March 2006).
