Off Mars Again

In the early phase of the Mars-Belter war of 2519-2527CE, a squadron of Ares class cruisers sets out for Mars to reinforce Martian holdings in the outer system.  The massive ion-propelled warships required vast quantities of xenon, mined from gas giant atmospheres, to operate.  This squadron, bound for Saturn, would strengthen Martian dominance of the outer system, capturing the Belter installation at Janus.

(Note: This is a rework of an earlier rendering, done mostly to demonstrate improved techniques developed over the last few years.)
